Long road to Manali from Shimla

This road leads to Manali from Shimla. We set out early in the morning from Shimla.

The road was beautiful

but sadly my camera battery drained out after taking this snap so couldn take the beautiful scene scenery afterward

This was taken from the hotel balcony at Shimla. It overlooked the entire valley and was a wonderful sight. 

I just fell in love with that place and from that point of time Shimla became my favorite place on earth

So now i am gonna be uploading the pics of my Himachal Pradesh visit of 2008. As i am gradually sorting them out .

These pics are taken in Manali on the way to the temple of Manu.
I noticed a very strange thing there
all houses in that area were made up of stones. No use of cement or anything but just stones which were piled on upon another 

All these pics were from my Puri Konark visit in April 2009.

After these i am gonna upload some random pics which i took.

Then will be some Durga puja and Diwali pics


I think i didn tell you that it was May 2008 that i discovered my passion for photography.

i was in 12th standard then and during summer vacation i went to Himachal Pradesh

Back to Kolkata

So atlast after a wonderful short trip to Puri and konark i returned to my city Kolkata. 
Every time i see this bridge i fall in love with the awesome architecture . i took this snap from my car as it was moving couldn't improvise on the angles and parking the car in the middle of the bridge would have been illegal . If it was possible then would hav got down and took some more pics in different angles.
